FOREMAN, AR | 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500June 5, 20265/27/2026 Had an 8:00 am appointment for my 1st service on my 2026 1500 Duramax Trail Boss Truck.( I was told when I made my appointment that it would only take about 1 hour.) 9:15 am I asked Mr. Sosa what was the hold up was on my truck, a few minutes later he told me we needed to talk. My brand new truck had an oil leak & they were waiting on General Motors to get back in touch with the service manager to see what to do. I then found out that they didn’t have any loaners for me to drive & were calling Hertz to see about getting me something to drive. I told them that I needed a truck but they told me that they only had car’s available. I was very upset because I needed a truck to replace the brand new $70,000 truck that was being repaired due to some sort of factory defect. An employee of the dealership gave me a ride in a crew cab truck to the hertz rental place in Texarkana Texas. I asked the lady that was filling out the paperwork for my car why was I getting a car when they had several trucks on the lot. She informed me that cars were rented at $44 a day & the trucks were $54 a day. She said GM only paid $44 a day for rentals concerning warranty work. Mr Gosa called me on 5/29/2026 to let me know my truck should be ready sometime on 5/30/2026. During this conversation I asked him whether I was to drop the rental off at dealership or what? He said he would find out.I also asked him to make sure my def fluid was topped off because it was on the list of things that were covered on my first service. He said he would check on that also. The next day he called to let me know that my truck wasn’t ready until 5:00 pm. Also he said it was my responsibility to make sure I returned the rental to the Hertz lot in Texarkana Texas. I informed him that the dealership dropped me off there earlier in the week because they were out of loaners. He said I would still have to get the rental back before I could get my truck. Once again I was very upset & informed him that it was impossible for me to accomplish such a feat. 6/2/2026 I called my salesman to inform him of the predicament that I was in. He talked to his manager & he said that he could follow me to the hertz office in Texarkana Texas & give me a ride back to the dealership. I picked up my truck &drove it home, hooked it up to my camper & started the 45 mile drive to Gillham lake for my vacation. 5 miles into the trip I got a warning on the dashboard that my def fluid had only 500 miles left on it.( This figure dropped rapidly I guess because I was towing my camper) I had to pull my truck & camper into Tractor Supply’s parking lot to put def fluid in it. I called my salesman to let him know what was going on. Eventually I received a phone call from service manager at dealership in Ashdown Ar. He called to find out what was happening. He was gonna send someone to the Lake to put some fluid in it. I informed him that I already put some in myself. I told him I would like to bring it by dealership after my vacation to get it topped off like it should have been done to start with. He said that would be fine and that he would give me some extra fluid to take home.Gregory B
